Repair of inverters
At TANAJET, one of our specialties is the repair and replacement of all the elements of a reducer, such as complete pinions, bearings, friction disc, regardless of the brand and type of reducer, which can be variable pitch reducers or with power take-off (PTO), although we are mainly specialized in the TECNODIRVE, GUASCOR, BAUDOUIN brands.
Repair of a GUASCOR variable pitch reducer:
We travel to the vessel to dismantle a GUASCOR gearbox, uninstall all the piping and connection elements, uncouple the gearbox from the engine and use a crane truck to extract it and transport it to the TANAJET facilities. Once the gearbox is in our facilities, we begin the disassembly, removing the casing, primary and secondary gears, main gear, variable pitch shaft, etc.
Once everything has been dismantled, we clean all the parts and elements of the reducer, we check and verify the axles, pinions, discs, bearings, etc. We replace what is necessary with new ones. With all the elements prepared, the assembly of the parts begins in the workshop and once finished and having made all the necessary checks and considering the assembly complete, we proceed to take the reducer on board for its installation, connection and sea trials to verify that everything is correct.
